Provo Power Company (PPC) Ltd. Lights up the New Year with New Management Appointments 03Feb 2010

Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands (February 3rd, 2010) - PPC Ltd has started the New Year with some bright changes to its management team. The company has introduced a new management level of Division Directors which is being marked by a series of promotions within the company.

The four new Division Directors are:

Devon Cox, PPC's former Manager of Operations has now been promoted to Director of Transmission and Distribution Operations. A Turks and Caicos Islander, Devon Cox has been with PPC for three years and has over ten years experience in the industry. He previously worked as the Electricity Commissioner for the TCI Government and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.

Judy Missick, Director of Human Resources was previously the company's Human Resources Manager. Judy joined PPC more than twenty years ago as the Admin Assistant to the General Manager and has worked her way up to this new position through training and experience. Over the years she has completed several training courses in Human Resources Management.

Blaine Desrosiers, The former Material Consultant has been promoted to the Director of Facilities and Material Management. Blaine brings with him 32 years of experience in utilities' operations, Materials Management, Generation  and Transmission & Distribution. He joined PPC in 2008 after working for Fortis Ontario, one of PPC's sister companies in Canada.

Michael Polonio is PPC's new Director of Energy Production, promoted from Manager of Plant Operations. He has over twenty years of experience working in Generation Management for Belize Electricity Ltd, a sister company of PPC Ltd. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA). Michael joined PPC in 2008.

Commenting on the Company's restructuring and latest promotions, Eddinton Powell, PPC's President & CEO said, "The restructuring add an important new dimension to the Company's management structure, further enabling the Company to achieve its strategic objectives and deliver exceptional internal and external services. Between them, these four collegues have over eighty years of experience in the utility business and bring a synergism of strength and experience to the senior management team".
