Street Lights To Be Fully Restored Within A Couple Weeks

Street Lights To Be Fully Restored Within A Couple Weeks 14Nov 2008

Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands, November 13th, 2008 - PPC Ltd would like to advise customers in Providenciales that repairs to the street lights will commence the week of November 17, 2008.

During the recent hurricanes, the company experienced a high number of street light failures and were unable to complete repairs initially due to the strain on resources in restoring power to Providenciales, North Caicos, Middle Caicos and South Caicos.

Furthermore, the number of lights damaged was far in excess of the company's normal stock of street light parts, which have been ordered for some time and are expected to arrive on island by the end of the week. Brian Walsh, VP Operations said  "The company expects the shipment of street lights and accessories by November 14th and immediately thereafter PPC's personnel and a local contractor will commence comprehensive street light restoration."

The company would like to thank its customers for their patience and understanding.
