Alvejes Desir is Director of Energy Production, with responsibility for providing high quality management expertise in all the company’s service territories in the areas of plant operations, installation and maintenance of the production assets.
He joined FortisTCI in June 2005 as a Metering Technician. In June 2013 he was promoted to Superintendent of Plant Control, and two years later, assumed the role of Manager of Plant Control and Electrical Maintenance.
Mr. Desir graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology/Electrical. He also earned a MBA from Walden University in October 2015.
He serves as Chairman of FortisTCI’s Hurricane Preparedness Committee.
