FortisTCI has been awarded Silver Certification against the Investors in People Standard and is one of the first companies in the region to achieve this international recognition under the new sixth-generation framework. The accreditation is valid through 2021 and demonstrates the commitment FortisTCI has to realizing the potential of its employees.

FortisTCI (the Company) issues this press statement to correct item 4 of the Honourable Premier's press briefing published on the 19th of October, 2018, regarding the Company's Rate Application and its request for the Governor to establish an Inquiry, under Section 34 of the Electricity Ordinance, as to the reasonableness of the Company's Application for a variation of rates.

Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands (Wednesday, October 3, 2018) - On July 11, 2018, FortisTCI filed a detailed and comprehensive Rate Variation Application with the Governor under Section 34 of the Electricity Ordinance. The application documentation was substantial and included very detailed analysis of the rationale and basis of the application, including the financial impact of Hurricanes Irma and Maria on the company.

Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands (Wednesday, September 26, 2018) - With a focus on building a sustainable, reliable, and least-cost energy future that takes into consideration the full scope of generating and delivering electricity in the Turks and Caicos Islands, the Government (TCIG) alongside Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI) and FortisTCI Limited have partnered to develop the Turks and Caicos Islands Resilient National Energy Transition Strategy (R-NETS). RMI is facilitating this initiative and held a kick-off meeting with all participants on Thursday, September 13, 2018, to discuss and agree on the project timeline and objectives.

Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands (Thursday, August 16, 2018) - FortisTCI is honoured to receive the ISO 22301:2012 Certification for its Business Continuity Management System earning the accreditation from leading standards organizations British Standards Institution (BSI), ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB), and United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) Management Systems. FortisTCI is the first utility company in the Caribbean region to be certified by BSI.

Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands (Thursday, August 2, 2018) - Global independent credit rating agency Standard & Poor's (S&P) announced on Friday, July 27, 2018, that it is maintaining a 'BBB' global corporate rating for FortisTCI Limited (the "Company"). However, the agency said, "We are revising our outlook to negative from stable on weaker financial metrics following Hurricane Irma last year."

Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands (Thursday, June 7, 2018) - FortisTCI announces a formal partnership with the Turks and Caicos Islands Government (TCIG) for the installation of closed circuit television (CCTV) camera equipment on utility poles in Providenciales. As a part of the joint agreement signed on Tuesday, June 5, TCIG will pay for the energy usage of the cameras and FortisTCI will waive all pole attachment fees over the next three years.

Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands (Thursday, May 24, 2018) - FortisTCI is pressing ahead with the integration of solar power generation in the TCI, recently commissioning two grid-tied photovoltaic (PV) systems in Providenciales in partnership with Global Management Co. Ltd, also known as Aircool. Together, the two PV systems equal approximately 250KW spanning 20,000 square feet of rooftop space and were installed by local contractor Green Revolution.
